Air Cleaner works best.

I am more particular of my home because I don't want my family will get sick or weak. I know so well that the air in my home is not as healthy as I think. Frankly, pollutants such as dust, dirt, pollen, mold spores, etc. are inevitable which untreated indoor air up to 100 tine worse than outdoor air.

Noted hat we spend up to 90 percent of our tine indoors, indoor air quality is my important concern.

Luckily, I trust Carrier's Air Cleaners which help and provide an effective way to enhance the quality of air in our home. It effectively removes bacteria, pollen, animal dander and other pollutants. Furthermore, the purifier captures and kills harmful spores and allergen for whole home air purification.

I know I ensure the right protection of my family from unwanted pollutants.

This secures me!

TV Box and IN Box for my home.

My 4 years old kid, Danica is playful. She is fond of placing something in the holes. I worried much if she might put something in the outlet. So I contacted an expert electrician to fix it out. I want the plugs stay inside the box, not protruding past the wall. What he does is he uses TV Box and IN Box which allow LCD and plasma TVs to mount flush against the wall. It also has box cover which secures in place for my Danica not to put something in it.

I feel secured now that this problem has been solved. My little Danica can play around the house safely.

Stress-reliever Bed

After overly burdened with stress from unending piles of paper work in the office, I can't wait to go home to rest and to sleep in my Sleep Number Memory Foam bed. With one touch of a button, I have complete control over the firmness and support of each side of my bed, giving me the ideal night's sleep. What is best about this kind of bed is that it has the adjustability of sleep number setting which allow me to move around the bed with more ease, helping me stay at the perfect sleeping temperature.

Probably, with the unique combination of memory foam and adjustable firmness gives this bed unmatched durability and resilience.

Now, I don't worry much about stress because I have the best ever stress-reliever right at my bed.

Thus, no matter how many bundles and piles and how stressful my job, I know I have the extra sufficient comfort because of my bed.

Actually, it's the bed that I've always dreamed of.

For clean air, I use Airlite

Recently, I decided to buy a new set of Airlite because I want to destroy odors, smoke, pollen, mold, bacteria and even dust mites of my home by plugging this wall device. It cleans and sanitizes the air in my bathroom, bedroom, living room and even my recreational vehicles. Furthermore, I also bought some of this item which I will put in my office.

It is really such a good feeling as I breath the clean air which flows into every corner of the room with Airlite.

This one saves my health!

Sunlight Sauna

As soon as we have our new house, probably next year, I am into buying various furniture or our home.

I have seen on the page of Natural Health Magazine, that corner that speaks about "If you want to live well, you need to use Sunlight Sauna. It will help you maximize your metabolism, remove toxins and reduce inflammation and soreness. It's a great secret to extraordinary physical health."

It further utters that sweating is the body's safe and natural way to detoxify, heal and stay healthy. Detoxification can be used as a tool to help relieve symptoms and as a preventive tool to increase overall health, vitality and resistance to disease.

Detoxification is a widely used treatment and concept in alternative medicine. The leading detoxification principal is that illnesses can be caused by the build-up of toxic substances or toxins - in the body.

That's when I decided to buy one this December because I find it beneficial especially that I'm atone to wellness and health.

This is indeed beneficial for me.

Stain Removal

My Danica (3 years old) is restless, much more that she's giving me lots of stains. Indeed, if you've got a baby, chances are you've got some stains.

Stains like formula, spit-up, pee or poop, grass, dirt, mud, grease, salad dressing, tomato sauce, kool-aid, red wine and blue berries are hard to remove. Thanks a lot that I discover the right defense.

For Danica's formula and spit-up, I use shampoo because it dissolves stains without harsh chemicals. All you need to do is to dab just enough shampoo on the stain to cover it with a light film. Do not rinse. Let it sit in the hamper at least overnight or until you next do laundry. When ready to put a load in your machine, dab more shampoo on the stain, then rinse it our. Use the warm or cold-water setting, not hot. When done washing, check to see if the stain came out before putting clothes in the dryer. (heat of any kind will set the stain). If the stain is still there, repeat shampoo application and wash.

For pee and poor, you need to use the Nature's Miracle pet-stain remover because it has enzymes specially formulated to eat away at bacteria. All you need to do is to saturate the item with Nature's Miracle. Let clothing soak for a few hours. Apply again, then rinse.

For grass, dirt and mud, grease and salad dressing, you need liquid dishwashing detergent (preferably an organic kind) because it is made to remove grease and oil from pots and pans, yet it's gentle enough for clothes. You just saturate the stain with detergent. Let sit for three hours. When ready to wash, apply more detergent, rub gently and rinse.

For tomato sauce, kool-aid, red wine and blueberries, you should use hydrogen peroxide (no older than 6 months, or it loses its bubbling action) and baking soda. It has red and purple stains must be bleached for the stains to disappear. Peroxide is gentler than bleach. If necessary, check for colorfastness by dabbing a small spot with a Q-tip and letting it set for 15 minutes. It it doesn't bleed, pour peroxide directly on the stain. Pour baking soda on top, let sit for 30 minutes. Rinse and repeat. The fizzing should help loosen the stain for easier removal.

I have no worries now that I know well how to remove stains. My Danica can play now anywhere, anytime. 7QFQEY6VSDFR

New Rice Cooker

Christmas is nearly approaching but this month of December stores lots of sale and huge discount in almost all the products from appliances, school supplies, accessories, clothing and fashion and even food treats.

I went to the mall this morning and I grab the sale of their appliances section. I bought a gas rice cooker. The original price is $589 and it was sold at $495 which I save $94. It is already a big discount and saving.

I bought a new set of gas rice cooker because my old set has already been destroyed. What glad me about this set is that it has large cooking capacity of up to 60 persons. It has automatic shut-off with built-in safety controls for easy and safe use. It also comes with thick 8 mm aluminum bowl for durable usage. Furthermore, it is economical in gas consumption with its fast cooking time of around 22 minutes.

Now cooking rice is made easy!

Extraordinary Gelatin-like Decoration

I went to the house of my friend this morning and I was amused with the decoration she has placed on the table. This captured my attention as I looked over her living room.

It was a bottle filled with round, gelatin-like thing which was made of various colors - pink, yellow, orange, blue, violet, green, etc. Furthermore, it glitters. Moreover, it is a must to feed them with little water for this gelatin-like thing becomes many. It's like when feeding this thing with water, it will propagate.

As a result, I never miss to take pictures of it as I brought with me my digital camera. Here it is:

This decoration is best especially when you serve it as a substitute for pebbles for your flower vase which the flowers take grip pg it or it is also best when you place it in the aquarium. Fishers will not get harm with this because it is toxic-free.

Actually, I asked some of these gelatin-like thing from my friend, Jevelyn because I also want to have like this in my living room as well.

CFL eco-friendly lights: Better Solution for Climate Change

We are facing in a great crisis - financially, emotionally, physically, socially, spiritually and mentally. But what heads most in crisis today is the big destruction that ruin much our Mother Earth, climate change.

Did you know that you can do your bit in helping save the environment and save energy due to climate change by using eco-friendly lamps and light fixtures in your household?

With a growing number of people waking up and warming up to the importance of living green, eco-friendly lights, commonly known as compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) are becoming a popular alternative to incandescent lights. Studies reveal that CFL is a type of fluorescent lamp that gives off light similar to common incandescent bulbs but with reduced energy consumption and longer life, making it economical and practical to use at the same time.
This idea prompts me to purchase CFL eco-friendly lights whhc I used at home.

Preventive measure this Christmas season.

Holiday season is filled with lights and celebration especially that Christmas is near, so safety maybe the last thing on your mind. I remember way back before about in danger as he unintentionally touched the Christmas series lights as he tightly gripped them, to the extent that electric heat transmit to his hands. Good thing that I was able to notice him touching the Christmas' series lights directly.

Just like this scenario, in order to reduce preventable childhood injury (especially this Christmas season), some of these helpful essential points mothers like me all around the globe should be aware of so that they will initiate immediate alerts for the safety of their kids.

Regularly check your tree fro fresh, green needles. Trees that have dried out over several weeks burn faster than fresh, well-watered trees. Remember to keep your tree watered at all times and keep the tree at least 3 feet from any heat source. You should also dispose trees after four weeks.

It is also very essential to keep sharp or breakable glass decorations out of a child's reach. Make sure that ribbon is kept away from small children. They can be strangled by only a 7-inch piece of string.

Before using the holiday decorations, carefully inspect each electrical decoration before plugging it in. Cracked sockets, frayed, bare or loose wires can cause a serious electric shock or start a fire.

Holiday candles decorations add a copy touch to your home, but if you are not careful, they can be a serious hazard. Be sure to place candle's in sturdy, non-combustible holders and keep them at least 12 inches away from anything that might burn. Do not leave candles unattended and keep children away.

Furthermore, you should look for the holographic UL Mark on light strings and electrical decorations. The UL Mark means that UL engineers have tested samples of the product for safety hazards. Green holographic UL Mark equals indoor-only use, red holographic UL Mark equals indoor and outcome use.

Make sure electrical cords don't dangle out in the open, and be sure to unplug unused electrical kitchen appliances and put out of your children's reach. Install UL listed electrical outlet caps for added protection.

Also have a UL listed smoke alarm installed on every floor in your house, outside sleeping areas and inside each bedroom. Alarms should be tested every month and batteries replaced at least once a year.

Christmas season can be worthwhile and such an enjoyable time of yuletide happiness when you consider safety first.

Is your company drowning in damaged documents?

The massive flooding from typhoons should serve as a wake up call to all: Nothing is beyond the reach of any calamity, even important corporate flies that were once thought safe and secure.

In the wake of disasters were hundreds of thousands of important documents irretrievably damaged or lost. Replacing these files, if at all possible, would be costly and time-consuming.

This is why leading IT solutions and services provider Pan Pacific Computer Center (PPCC) is now strongly advocating the need for companies to obtain and implement a reliable, secure and comprehensive Document Management System (DMS). Such a system empowers organizations with an electronic infrastructure that lets then safely and securely store, retrieve, organize, monitor, share and perform many other tasks with their valuable documents.

PPCC is offering this service via Docuflo, which promises to help solve every business' documentation requirements. Scallable to fit the needs of small entrepreneurs and large corporations, Docuflo centralizes and protects all paper and electronic files.

Once Docuflo is in place, it streamlines the documentation process via four stages:

1. Capture - Upload, profile and store electronic documents, emails and scanned images in a central repository.

2. Manage - Track document availability and updates. Routes documents and monitor its progress. Send notifications to others about pending documents. Automatically set document retention period.

3. Search - Retrieve documents by profile or by document content.

4. Protect - Control user privileges. Set access security rights from the folder, down to the document.

Making all these convenient are Docuflo system, modules consisting of a standard Web Server, Search Clients and Administrator. Additional modules can be installed for greater ease and functionality.

Docuflo is the complete solution to today's documents management challenges and setback, whether man-made or natural. Aside from PPCC, it is further backed by Malaysia's lading provider of Information and Content Management Solutions, InfoConnect.

How to choose the perfect place for condo living

Are you buying your first condominium unit? Unlike groceries at the supermarket, you do not buy any property on impulse. Not only should you first consider the cost of the unit, but you must also factor in a number of details before signing a contrast. Here are some tips when scouting around foe your new home.

Always bear in mind that good location is a key factor in choosing a condo unit. Although you may be residing in a condominium, but if flood-waters will keep you trapped inside for a few days, then it would be unwise to invest your money.

Some homeowners prefer a popular neighborhood for their home because this guarantees that the unit will keep and even raise its value. However, some buyers also consider buying condos in new or developing locations. These new locations could turn out to be an in-demand place in a few years time. Consider issues such as security and the reputation of the neighborhood since these could greatly enhance the value of your property.

Consider the basic amenities offered within the building. Does it have 24-hour doorman, adequate security to cover the whole building, a lobby, a swimming pool, gym, playroom or even enough elevators? Are there private businesses within or near the building, such as a grocery, laundry or water refilling station? These could greatly affect your convenience.

Avoid typicalnees. Choose a building that has some unique feature about it, since this can add value to your property. It could be a special amenity like a garden or outdoor space, or even a celebrity resident.

Consider the issue of exclusivity. The less number of homeowners in a condominium, particularly in a medium-rise one, means there is less traffic when it comes to using an elevator and the lobby is not as crowded as in other buildings. It is also peaceful and quieter at any time of the day.

Choose a reputable developer. Can your developer deliver on time? A developer's reputation will tell you whether you will get a quality product or not. Your developer should also be able to answer questions regarding issues that may arise regarding your unit after it has been turned over to you.

Compared to a high-rise condominium, some buyers prefer a mid-rise condominium because the developer can deliver the units in a shorter time. In many high-rises, turnover takes at least five years. If you are renting in the meantime, a fast turnover means savings on rental expenses. On the other hand, if you are investing on a condominium unit, a fast turnover means an immediate returns from your investment.

Safety tips after a flood.

After a flood hits your home, be very cautious before you power up, plug and turn on your appliances.

All you have to do first is to check if your house is the only one without power or if it's the whole neighborhood. Ask a competent licensed electrician to do this for you.

And take note of this helpful safety reminders:

Always make sure that the main electrical power switch of circuit breaker is turned off. Unplug all equipment and appliances. Turn off switches of permanently connected equipment. Unscrew all light bulbs if possible. You have to remove mud and dirt from the service equipment or main circuit breaker/fuse and its enclosure, using protective gear or equipment such as rubber gloves, rubber-soled shoes and well-insulated pliers. As a safety precaution always assume the wires are "hot", "live" or energized whenever working. Allow convenience outlets, switches, electrical wires, sockets, connectors, breakers and other devices to dry completely. Drying may take days, depending on how wet the system is and on external temperature. When all electrical wires and accessories are dry and clean, proper testing must be done to ensure the integrity of the electrical system. Appliances must be completely dry and serviced or checked by a licensed, electrician or service center agent. Do not turn on damaged electrical appliances. Be observant and watchful after powering up your house to immediately detect any abnormalities.

Always insure that SAFETY FIRST!

Best solution for proper garbade disposal

Finding a better solution for the disposal of much garbage in our house is what I positively accomplished. I clean the house today. In fact, I had a general cleaning of the house. I do dusting the furniture, brushing the tiles, sweeping and moping the floors, arranging the things in the cabinets, etc. And so by doing, garbage are plenty. As a result, I have a huge problem where to dispose them.

Most of the garbage are of papers, plastics, cans and bottles. I don't want to burn them either.

Making the right decision of digging the soil about 3 feet under and throwing the garbage in is really a pretty idea I have made. Then I covered them (garbage) with soil. Positively, my problem is solved!

I think if everyone knows how to properly dispose garbage and waste, then there is no problem with the ozone layer, climate change, etc.

Indeed, it is a wise idea that perfectly can save life!

Designing for Living Room

Living room is the place where it welcomes you into a home. It can be a place for your visitors and a place for your family to have time together. Whatever situations for gathering, the living room accomodates the people entering a home. Therefore, it is best to beautify your living room as it entertains people with varied interests and concerns.

Upon learning some basics to consider in a living room, I decided to change the placements of the things and even add furnitures which appear my living room elegant and indeed beautiful. Parts of what I have learned are some of the vital things which I have to give much concern.

Nature should be placed in a living room. How? Every living room should allow nature as the focal point. The living room will require large windows, preferably floor to ceiling length to view nature. Furthermore, furniture arrangement should focus around the entertainment center. If you have a fireplace, your furniture should be arranged with this focal point. Placing your sofa or largest furniture piece so that it faces the fireplace is a traditional classic. All seats should have arm-length access to a table surface for drinks, books, magazines, remotes, etc. Also, tables are a foundation for lamps and accessories.

These are but some of the things that I have learned which my living lacks.

Best ointment for fungal infection.

I am prone to fungi skin infection. The type of skin that I have leads me to suffer much skin infection. Such infections like Tinea Infection, Ringworm, Athlete's Foot and Jock itch.

I have tried various anti-fungal cream from various brands. I am depress of their "false promises", leaving me unattended. I even consulted the skin specialist (dermatologist) and she has given me advises to use their products (though I want to purchase some of them) but I don't have enough cash to buy them.

Luckily, after months of search, I have tried the effective anti-fungal cream that perfectly kills the fungi of my skin. This product is affordable, effective and 100% guaranteed. Within 2 weeks, my skin glows to normal. It quickly penetrates the skin to kill the root cause of fungal infection. It acts very rapidly to relieve itching symptoms and reduce redness, skin irritation and inflammation. Once applied, it stays on the skin and works up to 16 hours.

Applying is just so simple. Apply with just a small amount on the affected area and massage the cream with your fingers until the product is evenly distributed on the skin.

My puppy has many lice. So UNHEALTHY...!

This is my puppy named Clint. I played with my dog today (this morning) but whew...! I have found out that he has many dog's lice. I immediately stop playing with him and I take him to a bath.

Dog's lice are unhealthy. It causes harm to his skin, leaving his skin lots of its (lice) bites. Me too, I was bitten by it as well.

Killing those lice is not easy. I wasn't able to buy shampoo her dogs and so I use the shampoo for women and I applied a lot of his body in order to kill those monstrous killers (lice).

Positively, the problem is solve. Good thing that I have notice the infestations of the lice before they could kill my puppy.

I need new bed sheets.

My husband was bitten by bed bugs. I don't really know where they (bed bugs) came from. I always clean our house. In fact, I clean everyday.

I had bought new bed sheets for our bed. Unfortunately, there are lots of bed bugs hiding through the hem line. That cause the pain of my husband's right leg. He was bitten by those. I couldn't keep the new bed sheet that I recently bought because of the presence of bed bugs. I decided to throw it in the garbage. Now, I need new bed sheets. I want to purchase 3 kinds of them (bed sheets). The problem is where to purchase quality yet affordable bed sheets.

I recycled things.

Waste disposal is one of the serious problems of our country today. Tons of garbage are thrown around everywhere. The government, for its part, seeks for the best solution to the problem of pollution due to indiscriminate garbage disposal, made worse by other factors in the environment.

Recycling is one of the solutions to the problem of indiscriminate garbage disposal. Creativity and resourcefulness is needed to convert throwaway materials into useful articles.

Recycling also can lead to an business enterprise, if pursued well enough. Utilizing still useful objects and other materials functional and salable household items such throw pillows, flowers, placemats, stuffed toys and decorative items can be produced for home use and the market.

There are numerous materials considered as trash that can be used for recycling. In the Philippines and elsewhere, the most available waste materials are wrappers and other used papers. Remnants of fabrics from garment factories are also available. Empty tin cans, plastic containers and glass bottles are thrown away on garbage hoops.

Some of these materials can be used for recycling.

1. Paper - wrapping paper, old newspapers, magazines, empty boxes, school waste, office waste, telephone directories and the like.

2. Fabric remnants
3. Plastic containers
4. Glass bottles
5. Tin cans
6. Household odds and ends

These are some of the things that can be recycled. I often collect things that I can utilize.

Cleaning the furniture

I have a problem of cleaning the furniture because instead of using a clean cloth, it doesn't get the dusts. I end up cleaning them with clean cloth every day. This is really my problem with furniture. I bought lots of furniture items at home like the living room set - sofas, chairs, table, cabinets, lamps, tv set and others.

They really make my living room look exotic and beautiful. But my problem is how to get the dust that settles in. No matter how hard I wipe with clean cloth, dust still leaves everyday.

Ways to prevent fire at home.

I will share to you some vital information on ways to prevent fire at home. Here are some ways that you can do:

INSTALL SMOKE DETECTORS. Working smoke detectors can alert you to a fire in time for you to escape. You should keep an eye on smokers. Careless smoking is a leading cause of fire deaths.

COOK CAREFULLY. Never leave cooking unattended. Keep cooking areas clear of combustibles. Plan your escape from fire. Sit down with your family and design an escape plan. Make sure that everyone knows at least two unobstructed ways - doors and windows - out from every room. Remember, matches and lighters are tools, not toys. Store all matches and lighters up high where kids can't see or reach them, preferably in a locked cabinet.

USE ELECTRICITY SAFELY. If an electric appliance smokes or has an unusual smell, unplug it immediately, and have it serviced before using again. Replace cracked or frayed electrical cord. Don't overload extension cords or run them under rugs. Don't tamper with your fuse box or use improperly sized fuse.

CHECK ALL ELECTRICAL OUTLETS REGULARLY. If a fuse blows or a circuit breaker is tripped. Find out the problem and correct it.

These are some of the ways to prevent fire at home.

I need new rugs.

I have bought some rugs for our home last May 23 of this year. I bought them online and they are quite expensive. Our pet, Trixy (dog) and Cindy (cat) love to sleep on those rugs. It is okay for me to have their sound sleep on the wide rugs in the living room but last week, I decided to buy a new set because their feathers could not easily be removed. It is very hard to remove them (feathers) even with the use of vacuum. I wash them (rugs) even twice a month but this couldn't help.

I really had a problem where to put them (my pets). They have their own houses but it seems they always want to stay in the living room and rest there.

Comb

Personal belongings such as comb, towels, toothbrush, roll-on and many others are only intended for personal use of the owner of the items. It needs not be borrowed nor used by anyone. That is why, I requested mother to buy me a comb because usually we (the family) use only one comb at home and I know that my brother have much dandruff. I don't want to have dandruff because of using one comb that my brother uses as well. That is why, I ask mother to buy me a comb intended for myself only. In this way, if ever there are dirt from my hair that will stick to the comb, it can't be transmitted to anyone in our family. Furthermore, I am also responsible for cleaning my comb as well.

Fight cockroaches.

I really had a bad time last night that cause me with sleepless night. It is because of some cockroaches that went out from the ceiling. I don't know why they are many. Unfortunately, the spray(cockroach killer spray) that I bought last month is already consumed. So dirty! They are flying and I was able to attack them with the use of the stick broom. I hit them and killed few of them. Some hid somewhere. I was really disgusted!

Pet House

We have found a new pet kitty. She is just in the canal and my stepmother got her because the cat is pitiful. I am thinking of the proper place where to place the cat at our house. But I don't have a pet house. Where could I buy one?

We just temporarily let her stay inside our house and we make a "home" for her in the corner.

Worry on the newly born pets.

My pet Trixy bore these 6 cute puppies last August 29, 2009. I worry much of their situation because I don't know what care should I give to these puppies. Trixy is not irresponsible mother to them but I want to take care of them as well. I never had more ideas of the food these cute puppies will eat or should I take them to a bath? I just don't know. I know that their mother is providing them with milk as food. All I initially do now is to provide them with good shelter that they could live especially in the cold nights. I hope that Trixy will be able to provide and secure them with their needs.

I need an expert plumber.

Our faucet is already retiring its services. I find it so regretful for not being able to ask for help from an expert plumber to fix the problem of our faucet. It drips a lot all day long. The lock has been destroyed and I can't fix it myself. All I do to alleviate the drip is to tie it with a cloth. I know that the cloth is not a big help. Much water is wasted and I know for sure that our water bill will be high.

I need the help of an expert plumber and he is now arriving soon because I called my friend to help me search one to fix our faucet.

Slippers for home.

I thought of buying some slippers for my family to wear inside the house. I don't want them to walk barefooted eventhough how clean our floor is.

I went to the store near our place here in Texas, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy because I don't like the style that they have displayed. I want to buy slippers that are intended to use inside our home.

Where could I buy slippers for home? I hope that I can have them.

Dishwashing liquid or detergent bar?

I have seen the advertise that shows which soap is best for washing dishes, diswashing liquid or detergent bar?

Frankly, I admit that I often use detergent bar especially when the dishwashing liquid is over or if I wasn't able to buy one.

I have learn upon seeing the advertise that the detergent bar that I often use in washing the dishes will leave chemical residue that might be present in all the plates, cups, spoons, forks or the dishes that I wash. Whew...! I don't want my family will include eating those with the food they eat.

Now I should not compromise my family of using detergent bar in washing the dishes. I will buy lots of supply of dishwashing liquid so that I will not suffer out of stock.

A good home must made, not bought.

Having a home is an investment. There are lots of home with various designs that are available today. You can go purchase the home with less price though it is not that beautiful and well furnished. The main thing is that you have a place to stay and to call your own. Great homes, beautiful, elegant and big ones are very expensive. Probably, it takes a lifetime for you to save in order to buy one. Though 100 sq. meter is good, enhancement is the solution of it.

Homes are too expensive nowadays because of the quality materials that the constructors use in building it. But if you have just enough money, you can buy just the one that fits your financial availability. And it is a must for you to beautify the home for it too look pleasing and attractive.

And if you want to sell it for years, you need to upgrade it from time to time. The selling price of a home depends upon the added investment that you add in it.

This is the smart way to make your home profitable.

Health is wealth.

Everyday we are expose to a lot of what composes the environment especially pollution and diseases. Our body is our sole investment that works for the fulfillment and the progress of what we have to accomplish and will be accomplished.

I remember one of my friend saying that she is happy with what she has right now though how meager her salary is but with God's help, she is healthy and strong. She never miss eating at the right time and whenever she is hungry because her health is the only legacy that evidently keep them survive. She stressed that no matter how poor they are but luckily they are healthy.

It is true that diseases chooses no one. Even if you are rich, in the middle class or poor in the society, disease spreads its killer knife. And when one has no means to prevent the diseases, he is for sure subject to illnesses or even death.

I think the people are wise nowadays because of the grievous economic crisis, they are more preventive and cautious. It is not a joke to gamble lots of money from medicines, operations or surgery. That is why, in order for an individual to live longer, he should eat what nature gives and not what artificial donates. It is wise to be ready always and make one's HEALTH a serious priority.

Toilet

I always make sure that our house is clean especially the bathroom. Our bathroom is big. I make sure that the toilet should be kept clean everyday because I can't predict the time when visitors come in the house or when my sisters visit me at home. It is a shame on my part when everything is not clean. The toilet bowl should be cleaned daily with the toilet brush. I use disinfectant once a week. This kills the germs in the toilet. It should not be used to cover up unpleasant odors. Toilet seats should be covered if the toilet is just a pit. I make sure that there is always water available in the toilet. I always tell my kids and my husband to use the toilet properly, clean it and always flush the toilet. Never left unattended if human waste or dirt is present. As for my husband, he had a place in the bathroom where he could pee. I don't want him to pee using the toilet bowl. It is unhealthy.

Flowers for the home.

I always consider the art of bringing beauty at home with the use of the flowers to let my home come alive. I can display my home like a garden of paradise. Just yesterday, I bought some flowers, vases and pots which I could use to decorate my home. I just come with the right choices of flowers. Arranging them takes time.

The flower with the longest stem is placed in the middle of the bowl. The flower would then be above the center of the bowl. Arrange the other flowers in the center. Keep the arrangement balanced in color and size of flowers. The heavier flowers should come towards the center. Equal attractions on the sides should be made. Flowers in one vase need not be just one kind. There may be different kinds. However, the color should harmonize.

Variations in sizes and heights of flowers as well as in color makes interesting arrangements. Do not use too many flowers and leaves in the vase. When flower stems are cut the same length the arrangement would not be interesting. Cut the stems in different lengths. Interesting arrangements would result. Stems, leaves, berries, weeds can add interest to a flower arrangement.

Artificial flowers are not used for decoration in the home. The flower arrangements we use should show sincerity. Artificial flowers are not true flowers. They are not natural. They deceive people into thinking they are real flowers. The natural lines and beauty of real flowers are better expressions of our sincerity and truth than artificial flowers arrangements. Artificial flowers for the home do not reflect good taste.

That is why, adding flowers to our home should use real flowers. Not the fake one.

I hope that this simple home tips may help you.

Use of thesaurus.

It is necessary to have all the needed resources when you want to research about anything. In English Literature where figurative words are of no exemption, it is best that you will have at hand (not just Dictionary) Thesaurus. This will extend further help in unlocking the difficulties of the meaning of some figurative words.

Thesaurus is a work that lists words grouped together according to similarity of meaning, containing synonyms and sometimes antonyms. It is Philo of Byblos who authored the first book called Thesaurus. A thesaurus should not be taken as a complete list of all the synonyms for a particular word. The entries are also designed for drawing distinctions between similar words and assisting in choosing exactly the right word. The word "thesaurus" is derived from 16th-century New Latin, in turn from Latin thesaurus, from ancient Greek thesauros, meaning a collection of things which are of big importance or value.

Nowadays, thesaurus is not new to many since there are lots of people from all walks of life find it beneficial to use.

It is also useful when you want to add uniqueness in your composition. But make sure that you are using the meaning with the right sense.

For example:

*Do not use difficult words when you want to deliver the right message to your listener.

You will say: Do not use ambiguous words when you want to convey the right message to your listener.

*The teachers provide to the needs of the pupils especially in the learning process.

You will say: The teachers cater to the needs of the pupils especially in the learning process.

*Be careful whenever the need arises.

You will say: Be cautious whenever the need arises.

These are few examples that might help you when you want to add extraordinary words to beautify your composition but just in the right way that others will clearly understand.

How to analize poems and other masterpieces?

I just can't forget my teacher told us when we were in college that the best way to understand a certain masterpiece that was written by famous authors or poets, one must first know and be acquainted with the background of the writer. He should know the life story of the writer from his birthday, educational attainments, memorable events in ones life, personal background, achievements in life and others. In this way, study of the piece will help a lot in understanding the meaning of each line.

It is not advisable to go through reading directly the poem or any masterpiece and have your own interpretation of the said piece.

There are explanations for every thing that the writer wrote in his composition.

I hope that this short information may help you in any way.

Who is Venus?

Venus was a major Roman goddess principally associated with love, beauty and fertility, who played a key role in many Roman religious festivals and myths. The Romans originally worshiped Venus as goddess of fertility. Her fertility powers spread from the garden to humans. The Greek aspects of the love and beauty goddess Aphrodite were added on to Venus' attributes, and so for most practical purposes, Venus is synonymous with Aphrodite.

People nowadays, associate Venus to the person they truly love specifically their girlfriend.

Who is your Venus in your life now?

Expect the unexpected.

Life is an endless path that we can't see what lies ahead for us. It is a clueless reality of of fun, pain, sorrows and excitements. The more we try to hit the spot, the more we loss the hope but the stronger we face its battle, the richer we become.

There are things in life that we can't tell which one will happen and which one will not. If we always think of success and triumph, we might fall into place with extreme trials and storms that unexpectedly come. What then is the purpose of living life as we muster to scroll from it?

The answer is WE NEVER KNOW!

We can't tell even when we want to choose the safest way around. We can't prophesied our destinies and our life's fate. There is no great assurance that the way we are walking into will lead us to a life, full of happiness and fame. For if a person has all these (fame and power), much more for trials and problems to cause pain. We never know that out from our planned dreams and ambitions in life, there comes less avenues and opportunities for success. The more we stumble, the better we fall. The more we are scared, the most we less expect things to happen.

That is why, in this battlefield of wider world that has everything, one must not always think of the possibilities for happiness to play into place. The most and the better way to get things in the right perspective is to always EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.

Son is the father of the man.

I remembered when I was still in college when our English Literature professor asked us about this question.

"What is the son is the father of the man?"

I found my professor quite strict for throwing such a question on the first day of our class. I was totally blank. One by one, randomly, our professor called us and she solicited answers from the trivial question she asked.

We were all nodding down, all heads looking at the floor for we never know the right answer. Some of my classmates were going to the comfort room, making an excuse just to escape to be called.

Luckily, the bell rang and I was saved. Then our professor told us to have research on the answer of the question. I don't have nothing in mind but to interpret it literally.

By the next day of our class, some of my classmates were absent. From 42 of us, we were around 23. It is quite scary because we didn't have the constant answer and we are not sure if our answer is the correct.

Mine is father-in-law, others are uncle and many answered children's children. All of us got the wrong answer.

Our professor can't hold her breath. She was quite angry because we never get the perfect answer.

"What is the son is the father of the man?" is the question that the Sphinx asked to Oedipus in exchange for an offer.

Oftentimes, we interpret words or phrases literally. Generally, in life there are things that are abstract and we need to dig down deeper to the meaning of each word, phrase or sentence.

The answer is man's stages in life.

When we are still young, we act and play childish things. We grow in ways little by little. We do things and discover them in our own childish world. As we grow, we encounter different approaches in life that may lead us through sorrows and pains, happiness and good tidings. This time we come to battle the most crucial part of our life, forming the possible things that we have learn from the environment. We react to what is necessary and immediate for us. We encounter lots of development in learning as we become in our teen and young adulthood years. Then, comes old adulthood whom we prepare for our retirement. In this stage, we spend time to reflect and be with the Lord, doing all the charitable and indulging in some religious activities. This is in preparation for our unexpected retirement as life just come to pass here on Earth.

Knowing the answer to the trivial question, made me realize that there are things in life that we don't have to blatantly interpret and see things in a simple scope. There are hidden meanings and deep interpretations that will lead us to understand the world of complexity to simplicity.

Finding pleasure of some of the books that I read and have read.

Reading makes me smart and a well-rounded person. I love reading books especially about Literature. Oftentimes, I am bringing all these books with me and I read them especially when I am going lazy in bed or in a waiting room or something.

These books inspire me. It helps me to discover things in the past that gives a big contribution in the present and future times. I gain lots of benefits from reading and I firmly believe that learning is a lifetime process and through reading, I am riding and learning with never-ending knowledge of the world and the people as well.

Here are some of the good things that I get out from reading:

1. Reading helps me understand people, nature, situations and unexplained things like love, hatred, happiness, sorrow and fear.

2. Reading makes me strong. I am more confident in expressing my thoughts and sharing my points-of-view of various issues that would need the people to know.

3. Reading sharpens my stock knowledge. I can tell and share what is on my mind. I have lots of ideas to share. It makes me not run out of words.

4. Reading travels me to the world of fantasy and reality. I am able to explore the wonders of places. I learn their culture, practices, beliefs, traditions as well as their nationalities. I see the world as a product of the past. I see history in every lines that would make me think that I am also a part of History.

5. Reading makes me a person. I act professionally and with great sense. I easily understand things and place myself in the right side when things will or might go wrong. It gives me the freedom to choose what is right from wrong. I come to know myself, my strength and weaknesses.

6. Reading develops my emotions. I put myself in the shoe of someone else's character and I manifest the feeling of empathy, love, patient and understanding.

7. Reading keeps me not to quit. Learning things everyday is fun and rewarding. It helps me to be patient at all times and to not surrender from the different turmoils of life. It makes me see the REAL world out from fantasy and fiction and it enables me to fight and stand after every fall.

8. Reading is my business. I feel bored whenever I can't read something. Even a small lines or piece, I have to read them everyday. I understand instructions through reading.

9. Reading makes me understand about God. I come to realize that this gift I have is nothing without Him, who is the Giver of my life. I am able to decipher what makes man and nature and their limitations. I realize that God is always the FIRST priority and the answer.

10. Reading makes me love someone. It makes me emotionally participative especially on love and being in-love. Though not all the time ends with a happy ending, but there is still another tomorrow for me to leave loneliness through HAPPINESS. I believe that there is someone for anyone and that LOVE revolves and will come to settle in.

That what makes Reading makes me read. I am and on my way with the world of my own, trying to never cease to explore and learn from love to life, from fantasy to reality.

Make Reading your master and you will never cease to live with it!

Sound Devices in Poetry

Devices of sound can increase pleasure and clarity especially in poetry. Following are some of the devices:

1. Alliteration. It is the repetition of initial consonants.
Example: the soft surge of the sea

2. Rhyme. It is the repetition fo a stressed sound, usually the final syllable.
Example: The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain.

3. Assonance. It is the repetition of vowel sounds in a phrase.
Example: The owl swept out of the woods and circled the house.

4. Rhythm. It is the recurring flow of strong and weak beats in a phrase.

Figurative Meaning - Lighthouse.

In many ports, there stands a lighthouse that guides the sailors and navigators. Its light allow the navigators to see the water and thus helps them steer clear of rocks.

A dim light from the lighthouse could cause the navigators much confusion, anxiety, problems and worse accidents. Even in the disastrous stormy night, the light from a lighthouse is indeed a welcome beacon to the seafaring travelers.

Our principles in life can serve as the light from our lighthouse. They should be clearly defined to you so that no matter how strong the storms in our lives are, they will be our guides as we steer clear of the rocks in our paths.

That is why, it is very essential for us to know and be aware of our principles on life to uphold us as we sail through life.

Opinion and views of the movie Boys Over Flowers.

I come across knowing Boys Over Flowers, the movie series that has been programmed by ABS-CBN Corporation in the Philippines. I admit that even at this age of 27, I also feel the Boys Over Flowers fever that most of the teenagers are crazy of.

During weekdays, from 6:00 to 6:45 in the evening, this fantastic and heart whelming TV series is being viewed. Through encountering and closely watching every part of the scene and the story as well, I have learn lots of good morals and this is about one's STATUS OF LIVING amidst the LOVE thing.

Geum Jan Di, the leading character in the story is a commoner who belongs to the POOR classes in the society. Goo Jun Pyo, the leading man of the first person character, is a member of an ELITE classes in the society. What dissects the two is their great likeness (though they didn't show publicly and admit it) turns out to LOVE. But because of the range of the ECONOMIC STATUS of the two who are in-love to each other, President Kang, Goo Jun Pyo's mother, wanted to cause them to break up and ruin Geum Jan Di's life and the life of the people around her.

I don't know if there is moral that we can get from President Kang's part as a destroyer of the lives of her son in order to selfishly protect the Shinwa Company and the families that abide from them in exchange of FORCED and ARRANGED LOVE of Goo Jun Pyo to Hye Jeung.

Normally, people want security and it boils down to the word called "practicality". But how about lifetime happiness and love? Are we going to just slip it away and turn out the HAPPINESS that will lead us to a lifetime contentment in life?

Frankly, I don't know that nowadays, if there are still some kind of people who would like to manipulate and ruin other people's life just to gratify and satisfy their great need of personal interest and greed.

I will leave you to reflect on this.

Think about SUCCESS!?

Oftentimes when I see mountains, I always look at the peak. This is often the primary state of man to always look at what is on the top. But what does it mean figuratively?
Looking the top of the mountain always tone us that we love SUCCESS. This further views how a person would like to reach the top, reaching his dreams and ambitions in life. But have we realize that we need to take the lower part of it so that we can go forward to the cliff? That is what it means. As Celine Dion's song said, "When you want it the most, there is no easy way out" and that is true. Reaching the top takes a lot of sacrifices and pains. There is no one in this world who instantly or directly experience the stable living of a wealthy life without taking the narrow road of pain and sacrifices. That signifies that if we want something for our life, the things we really want to have and aspire, we need to SACRIFICE and patient is a must. How does one drive his life will also depend on the various aspects of his priorities and setting that one big priority will somehow lead him to success or will turn his way around. But there is no room for regret if life leads him to the dim and unexpected side because if one learns and put that learning into mind, then I am sure he is not the root of the biggest mistake. Oftentimes we can say that "My best wasn't good enough!". That is life and we are the ones who will take the consequence of what lies ahead and what will be for us. I hope this help you in most ways to reflect on the mystery of life.

Happy Father's Day Tatay!

Father. Tatay. Papa. Itay. Whatever you call them. They are special in our lives. It is "He" who showed the world that we exist. Today is the day set especially to all the FATHERS in the whole wide world. A day of recognition for their existence and the presence that bring us all to life.

The History of Father's Day

The first known celebration of Father's Day was on July 5, 1908 in Fairmont, West Virginia, where it was commemorated at William Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church South – now known as Central United Methodist Church. Grace Golden Clayton is believed to have suggested it to her pastor after a deadly explosion in nearby Monongah in December, killing 361 men.
It was also during a sermon in 1909 that Sonora Smart Dodd became inspired by Mother's Day. After the death of her mother, Sonora and her siblings were raised by their father William Jackson Smart, a Civil War veteran. Sonora wanted to show how thankful she was to her father and, because William was born in June, she worked to have the first Father's Day celebrated on June 19, 1910.

In 1924, President Coolidge recommended that Father's Day become a national holiday. President Johnson designated the third Sunday of June to be Father's Day in 1966. It was not until 1972 that President Nixon instituted Father's Day as a national observance.

Roses are the official flower on Father's Day, red for fathers who were still living and white for those who have passed on.

To all the Fathers in the world, HAPPY FATHER's DAY and to my father as well who raise me with good values and proper conduct. A father who has been there through good and bad times. I love you Tatay!

Furthermore, I want to thank the One, Jesus Christ who bring my father in this world for us. Happy Father's Day too, Jesus!

Best things in life are free!

Whenever I think of the beauty of nature, it reminds me of LIFE. The warm breeze that gradually sails in the sea, the cool air that touches my skin, the sunset that captured my sight, the fresh water that queches my thirst...these are all the things that I enjoy out from life. Oftentimes, I encouter a lot of heavy burdens that sometimes drives me to be weak but positively I realize that there is the Giver of life who will help and never leave me. There are more to life that He laid and will laid for me and I owe a lot to Him. In spite how heavy my life is, I know that one thing for sure, He will never leave me.

All things in life are for free and He has given us the freewill on how to use and enjoy the gift of life that He bestowed to us and for us everyday. But what is the wise and brilliant way to enjoy life...? It is through Him and in Him. The way to life is Jesus!

Writing is my life!

Eversince I was a child, writing is in my root. I love writing. I love expressing my own opinion, views and perspective in various issues. Writing for me is an expression of the inner self. It is a way of reaching out to others about the feelings of my soul. It is a masterpiece. It is a skill. It can be learned and mastered by many individual. Writing is the freedom of speech, the right of expression and an art.

When I was about 8 years old, I have my Diary. I put into writings all that has happened into my life as I encounter my day-to-day activities in those times. When I reached at the age of 12, I start to write poems and essays. Now, I never cease to mark my paper with the stored knowledge I have. This is a gift and I want to share my writings with you.
