Safety tips after a flood.

After a flood hits your home, be very cautious before you power up, plug and turn on your appliances.

All you have to do first is to check if your house is the only one without power or if it's the whole neighborhood. Ask a competent licensed electrician to do this for you.

And take note of this helpful safety reminders:

Always make sure that the main electrical power switch of circuit breaker is turned off. Unplug all equipment and appliances. Turn off switches of permanently connected equipment. Unscrew all light bulbs if possible. You have to remove mud and dirt from the service equipment or main circuit breaker/fuse and its enclosure, using protective gear or equipment such as rubber gloves, rubber-soled shoes and well-insulated pliers. As a safety precaution always assume the wires are "hot", "live" or energized whenever working. Allow convenience outlets, switches, electrical wires, sockets, connectors, breakers and other devices to dry completely. Drying may take days, depending on how wet the system is and on external temperature. When all electrical wires and accessories are dry and clean, proper testing must be done to ensure the integrity of the electrical system. Appliances must be completely dry and serviced or checked by a licensed, electrician or service center agent. Do not turn on damaged electrical appliances. Be observant and watchful after powering up your house to immediately detect any abnormalities.

Always insure that SAFETY FIRST!

Best solution for proper garbade disposal

Finding a better solution for the disposal of much garbage in our house is what I positively accomplished. I clean the house today. In fact, I had a general cleaning of the house. I do dusting the furniture, brushing the tiles, sweeping and moping the floors, arranging the things in the cabinets, etc. And so by doing, garbage are plenty. As a result, I have a huge problem where to dispose them.

Most of the garbage are of papers, plastics, cans and bottles. I don't want to burn them either.

Making the right decision of digging the soil about 3 feet under and throwing the garbage in is really a pretty idea I have made. Then I covered them (garbage) with soil. Positively, my problem is solved!

I think if everyone knows how to properly dispose garbage and waste, then there is no problem with the ozone layer, climate change, etc.

Indeed, it is a wise idea that perfectly can save life!

Designing for Living Room

Living room is the place where it welcomes you into a home. It can be a place for your visitors and a place for your family to have time together. Whatever situations for gathering, the living room accomodates the people entering a home. Therefore, it is best to beautify your living room as it entertains people with varied interests and concerns.

Upon learning some basics to consider in a living room, I decided to change the placements of the things and even add furnitures which appear my living room elegant and indeed beautiful. Parts of what I have learned are some of the vital things which I have to give much concern.

Nature should be placed in a living room. How? Every living room should allow nature as the focal point. The living room will require large windows, preferably floor to ceiling length to view nature. Furthermore, furniture arrangement should focus around the entertainment center. If you have a fireplace, your furniture should be arranged with this focal point. Placing your sofa or largest furniture piece so that it faces the fireplace is a traditional classic. All seats should have arm-length access to a table surface for drinks, books, magazines, remotes, etc. Also, tables are a foundation for lamps and accessories.

These are but some of the things that I have learned which my living lacks.

Best ointment for fungal infection.

I am prone to fungi skin infection. The type of skin that I have leads me to suffer much skin infection. Such infections like Tinea Infection, Ringworm, Athlete's Foot and Jock itch.

I have tried various anti-fungal cream from various brands. I am depress of their "false promises", leaving me unattended. I even consulted the skin specialist (dermatologist) and she has given me advises to use their products (though I want to purchase some of them) but I don't have enough cash to buy them.

Luckily, after months of search, I have tried the effective anti-fungal cream that perfectly kills the fungi of my skin. This product is affordable, effective and 100% guaranteed. Within 2 weeks, my skin glows to normal. It quickly penetrates the skin to kill the root cause of fungal infection. It acts very rapidly to relieve itching symptoms and reduce redness, skin irritation and inflammation. Once applied, it stays on the skin and works up to 16 hours.

Applying is just so simple. Apply with just a small amount on the affected area and massage the cream with your fingers until the product is evenly distributed on the skin.

My puppy has many lice. So UNHEALTHY...!

This is my puppy named Clint. I played with my dog today (this morning) but whew...! I have found out that he has many dog's lice. I immediately stop playing with him and I take him to a bath.

Dog's lice are unhealthy. It causes harm to his skin, leaving his skin lots of its (lice) bites. Me too, I was bitten by it as well.

Killing those lice is not easy. I wasn't able to buy shampoo her dogs and so I use the shampoo for women and I applied a lot of his body in order to kill those monstrous killers (lice).

Positively, the problem is solve. Good thing that I have notice the infestations of the lice before they could kill my puppy.

I need new bed sheets.

My husband was bitten by bed bugs. I don't really know where they (bed bugs) came from. I always clean our house. In fact, I clean everyday.

I had bought new bed sheets for our bed. Unfortunately, there are lots of bed bugs hiding through the hem line. That cause the pain of my husband's right leg. He was bitten by those. I couldn't keep the new bed sheet that I recently bought because of the presence of bed bugs. I decided to throw it in the garbage. Now, I need new bed sheets. I want to purchase 3 kinds of them (bed sheets). The problem is where to purchase quality yet affordable bed sheets.

I recycled things.

Waste disposal is one of the serious problems of our country today. Tons of garbage are thrown around everywhere. The government, for its part, seeks for the best solution to the problem of pollution due to indiscriminate garbage disposal, made worse by other factors in the environment.

Recycling is one of the solutions to the problem of indiscriminate garbage disposal. Creativity and resourcefulness is needed to convert throwaway materials into useful articles.

Recycling also can lead to an business enterprise, if pursued well enough. Utilizing still useful objects and other materials functional and salable household items such throw pillows, flowers, placemats, stuffed toys and decorative items can be produced for home use and the market.

There are numerous materials considered as trash that can be used for recycling. In the Philippines and elsewhere, the most available waste materials are wrappers and other used papers. Remnants of fabrics from garment factories are also available. Empty tin cans, plastic containers and glass bottles are thrown away on garbage hoops.

Some of these materials can be used for recycling.

1. Paper - wrapping paper, old newspapers, magazines, empty boxes, school waste, office waste, telephone directories and the like.

2. Fabric remnants
3. Plastic containers
4. Glass bottles
5. Tin cans
6. Household odds and ends

These are some of the things that can be recycled. I often collect things that I can utilize.
